Crispy tofu sticks / fingers - Keto friendly, gluten free, high in protein, high in fibre and vegan

Ingredients:

Extra firm tofu

Lupin flour

Lupin crumbs

Taco seasoning mix

lemon juice

salt & pepper to taste  

Recipe:

Mix lupin flour with salt, black pepper, lemon juice and water. Create a runny paste consistency and keep it aside. Blend lupin crumbs with taco seasoning mix. Now, grab an extra firm tofu and press all the moisture out of it. Cut it into sticks. Coat each stick with lupin paste first then with lupin crumb mix. Grease a baking tray and line tofu sticks in a single layer. Bake them at 350 degrees F for approx. 30-40 minutes (don’t forget to flip them in mid way for even baking). 


Health & nutrition:

Lupin crumbs are one of the only crumbs in the market with such high protein, high fibre and low carb content. They are keto friendly and a great alternative to regular or panko crumbs for weight watchers.
