3/4 cup milk (or milk alternative)
1/2 cup lupin semolina
1/4 cup powdered monk fruit (or your choice of sugar free substitute)
1 tsp + 2 tblsp ghee (or vegan butter substitute)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Handful of chopped and roasted cashews
Few saffron strands
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan & add 1/2 cup lupin semolina. Roast well till semolina turns deep yellow & fragrant.
In another pan, take 3/4 cup of milk (or milk alternative). Add a few saffron strands, 1/2 tsp cardamom powder, Once the milk comes to a boil, add the roasted semolina. Mix well.
Add 2 tblsp ghee, 1/4 cup powdered monk fruit sugar, a handful of chopped and roasted cashews. Mix everything well.
Keep cooking and stirring on a medium heat till all the moisture is evaporated (about 10 mins).
